The RN New Grad Residency is an 18-week comprehensive education and training program designed specifically to transition newly-graduated Registered Nurses from students to safe, competent, and professional health care practitioners.

The RN Transition-to-Practice (TTP)/ Residency Program assists the post-graduate RN in the transition from academia to a complex practice environment. The TTP Program consists of a comprehensive 12-month curriculum built upon standards related to clinical, leadership, and professional dimensions.

This program has been designed to assist the new RN graduate in making an effective transition from the role of student to that of competent staff nurse in the clinical setting. It is an 8-24 week (depending on specialty) intensive, structured program. See website for further information. New grad positions for various departments are posted regularly. Riverside Community Hospital advertises as new grad friendly and has the StaRN Training Program. RN license is required by program start date. The StaRN Program starts June 19, 2018 with the next one following on October 1, 2018. Announcements for job fairs and application periods may be sent out by the School of Nursing, but it is recommended to regular check their job site as well.

Temecula Valley Hospital is part of Universal Health Services (UHS). It is recommended to regularly check the UHS job site for new grad program announcements not only for Temecula Valley Hospital, but for other UHS facilities as well. TVH is currently accepting applications May 1 - June 1 for the new grad program beginning August 20th.

The New RN Grad Residency Program is scheduled in the Spring, Summer, and Fall of 2018. There will be a separate for each Cohort. Please apply to the appropriate cohort insuring you will have your California Registered Nurse license prior to the anticipated program start.
